Tour Plan

Morning:
6:30 AM – Hotel pickup from Arusha or Karatu
8:00 AM – Arrive at Lake Manyara National Park gate, check-in with TANAPA
8:15 AM – Begin morning game drive through lush groundwater forest
Spot baboons, blue monkeys, elephants, bushbucks, and possibly tree-climbing lions
Drive along the lakeshore for sightings of hippos and flocks of flamingos

Afternoon:
12:30 PM – Stop at a scenic picnic site for a packed lunch
1:30 PM – Continue the safari through the open savannah and acacia woodland
Visit the hot springs ("Maji Moto") on the far side of the park
Look out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 400 bird species

Evening:
3:30 PM – Exit the park and begin return journey
5:00 PM – Drop off at your hotel in Arusha or Karatu
